“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
United States Constitution Amendment II (1791.)
The right to keep and bear arms is one of the most important God-given privileges that our Constitution ensures. Our founding fathers recognized the importance of this natural right and enacted the Second Amendment to our Constitution in order to guarantee this natural right against the Government.
Unfortunately, over time, Congress, the Courts, and the Executive Branch of the Government have eroded this essential right, and many individuals find themselves prohibited from hunting, target shooting, and self-defense because they have lost their right to purchase and possess guns.
